Country Life Magazine features The Oast, Bentley
Forays Homes latest luxury development Holmes Field Court in Bentley, Hampshire featured in the March issue of Country Life.
The magazine prides itself on featuring ‘the most beautiful country houses for sale in Britain and abroad’ and of course, we’re very pleased to be included. (see the article here)
Our development consists of nine new houses and the conversion of three former Oast Houses. The Oasts have been designed to retain all of their original character whilst incorporating all the luxuries of modern living, sympathetically combining old and new. The new section of the site consists of three two-bedroom terraced houses, one large family detached house and a pair of new ‘barn’ style semi detached houses. (see the development details here)
Chris Nicklin of Strutt & Parker in Odiham describes Bentley as ‘a commuter’s paradise: a vibrant village that makes you feel a million miles from city life’ The village, once home to Lord Baden Powell offers everything you need and expect from a small village in the countryside; a shop/post office, pubs, a busy village hall and scout hall, and one of the most sought after primary schools in Hampshire. Chris continues: ‘The Bentley village fête is legendary and the annual bonfire is well known.’
