2016 Roundup
What a year it’s been for the Forays team. We’ve moved offices, flown around Europe visiting top suppliers, completed and sold plenty of homes and expanded our team!We knew 2016 would be a good year but here is the rundown in case you’ve missed it along the way.
We are ending 2016 building out five sites, with planning applications on a further five, totalling up to well over 20 units and this doesn’t include the ones just sold! We have built and sold properties in some of the best commuter villages, and only have two remaining at our Binfield development, which we are sure will be snapped up quickly in the new year. This year we’ve flown to Germany and Spain to visit the showrooms of top suppliers Rational Kitchens and Porcelanosa to use in the homes we build. We continue to love featuring Danetti furniture in our properties as we did in the seaside property in Mudeford on Sea, which we renovated and loved getting ready for the summer, followed by countless mornings spent walking the dogs by the sea.
Some of us climbed the three peaks and completed the Color Rush 5K and raised money for Phyllis Tuckwell too.
We’ve written countless articles covering trends and topics from artificial grass to the preservation of bats in our communities to square footage vs. number of bedrooms, you can find them all here. Our Oasts development in Bentley featured in Country File Magazine earlier this year, which was great to see.
We welcomed Oliver Hicks, our new Operations Director, to the team, as well as Tracey Ellis who is taking over the reigns as we say a temporary goodbye to Jen, our assistant accountant who is having her baby. We’ve packed up our old offices at The Old Exchange, Farnham and moved to our new offices at #1 Archipelago, Frimley where we have settled in and made the interior our own with the help of TSA Interiors, Guildford.
In 2017 we will continue to source the best land in the finest locations for our future developments.
